• Newly redesigned shape improves blade performance.
  1.          Distal end of blade has been widened by up to 2.5mm (depending on blade size) to create better "traction" for the blade.
  2.          Flange on the top of the blade has been cut back proportionately for each blade size to facilitate easier passage of the endotracheal tube.
  3.          The distal end of the blade has also been changed, creating a more atraumatic shape.

HEINE Modular F.O. Laryngoscope Blades - a new concept in laryngoscope technology.

With performance features comparable to HEINE Classic+ FO Laryngoscopes, the HEINE Modular Laryngoscope system reduces costs by employing a two-piece, autoclavable modular design. The F. O. LIGHT MODULE easily "snaps" in and out of the BLADE MODULE for convenient and time-effective removal and replacement for cleaning and sterilization procedures. The light module does not project into the line of sight, making intubation safer and easier.

FT Flexible TIP F.O. Laryngoscope for difficult intubation

The HEINE CL (Corazzelli-London) Flexible Tip is a Mac laryngoscope blade (sizes 3 and 4) with a tip which is adjustable through 70º. By squeezing a conveniently positioned lever, the blade tip gently lifts the epiglottis in a smooth, controlled motion to give a clear view of the vocal chords. Contact with the upper row of teeth and unnecessary pressure on the tongue and soft tissue are avoided.

Fiber Optic Handles

HEINE fiber optic handles and chargers have seen continuous development over a number of years. The current range is more reliable and user-friendly than ever. The HEINE 3.5V fiber optic rechargeable handle is an interesting alternative to the 2.5V fiber optic battery handle. The difference: up to twice as much light as with the 2.5V systems.

The fiber optic rechargeable handles can be recharged with or without the outer handle sleeve. This makes it possible to recharge the handle while the outer sleeve is being sterilized. Heine fiber optic handles can be updated from batteries to rechargeable.
